Flooding and Mold in an Englewood Basement

This flooded basement in Englewood, CO is the result of a broken water heater. The Before Photo was taken upon our arrival. The tenants were unaware of this flooding issue for several days, thereby allowing secondary water damage to occur. In this case mold patches developed in the adjoining downstairs room. We suctioned off the standing water from the concrete floor and placed air movers and dehumidifiers to remove the remaining water vapor. We notified the owner of the mold infestation, and we did a mold remediation and finalized the services with an antifungal spray to prevent future infestations.
