Water Damage Emergency Tips
What you can do until help arrives
Water Tips | Fire Tips | Biohazard Tips | Mold Tips
A severe flood can and probably will cause extensive water damage to any home or business. In such large amounts, water permeates and seeps into everything it comes into contact with, from rugs and floor planks to furniture and drywall. In addition, depending on the source of the flood, the water may contain harmful waste or bacteria that are hazardous to our health.
Even clean water won't stay clean for long; it only takes 24 hours for mold to develop in the right conditions, and in no time you could have toxic mold growing all over.
